The Town Board sets policy, adopts the budget and oversees roads, lakes and the town shop. The clerk runs day-to-day operations from the Community Center.

Boards & commissions
Every Hazelhurst meeting is open to the public. Residents are welcome to attend, observe and comment.

Three elected members — chair plus two supervisors. Sets policy, approves the budget, oversees roads and contracts. Meets at the Community Center.

Reviews zoning permit applications, makes recommendations on land-use questions and shoreline overlay updates. Meetings posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Volunteer-led group coordinating AIS prevention, lake monitoring and shoreline education across Hazelhurst's lakes. New volunteers always welcome.
