Required annual meeting of the electors. Budget Q&A, levy approval and resident comment. Bring questions; the town board will be there to answer them.
Apr 23 – Apr 30
The clerk's office will be closed for the week. Voicemail is monitored daily; for emergencies dial 911. Regular hours resume Tuesday, May 5.
May 5
Pending zoning permit applications and shoreline overlay updates. Draft agenda is posted with the meetings archive.
May 12
Anticipated items: spring road conditions, Wake Boat ordinance enforcement update, summer events calendar. Public comment is part of every agenda.
Aug 11
Held only when a primary is required to narrow a partisan field. Sample ballots will be posted at myvote.wi.gov closer to election day.
Nov 3
Bring a photo ID. Same-day voter registration is available with proof of residence; check myvote.wi.gov for the current list of acceptable documents.

Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 3 at the Hazelhurst Community Center. Bring a photo ID; same-day registration is available. We will publish absentee instructions and sample ballots in late September.
Read meeting recordOrdinances 25-01 and 25-02 are in effect for the 2026 season. Wake-surf-style operation is restricted to specific zones with depth and shoreline distance requirements. The DNR is coordinating spot checks with the Town.
